Ela engloba desde o estudo das remotas culturas c\u00e9lticas \u00e0 hist\u00f3ria global no tempo presente, o que nos habilita, como centro de forma\u00e7\u00e3o e capacita\u00e7\u00e3o, a receber pesquisadores de diferentes perfis acad\u00eamicos. Nesse sentido, o escopo atual da estrutura acad\u00eamica do PPGH se caracteriza pela transversalidade das linhas de pesquisa em setores tem\u00e1ticos, que organizam o estudo das rela\u00e7\u00f5es sociais em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao tempo hist\u00f3rico.
